Scotland’s largest wind farm, with its 114 offshore turbines and a capacity of 1.075 GW, is located around 27 km from the coast of Angus in the North Sea.

Located in the outer Firth of Forth, 15.5 km off the Fife Coast and 29 km from the east Lothian coastline of Scotland, this wind farm boasts 450 MW and covers an area of 105 km² in a water depth of 40-60 meters.

Thanks to its engineering skills, Saipem modified Scarabeo 9 to pass the Bosphorus Strait and the Black Sea bridges.

From the design to the installation of the underwater gas pipelines, Saipem has followed the Zohr project in Egypt in all its parts.

The project involved two EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts for the Jazan Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle project, located near the city of Jazan, in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
