IVHY™ 100 is a replicable and scalable solution, built with functional units from 20 MW up to 100 MW and more.

IVHY™ 100 is an optimised integration between energy input and conversion, electrolysis process, hydrogen purification including utilities, that leverages Saipem’s extensive experience as an integrator of systems and technologies in the conventional O&G and energy sectors.

Saipem uses its industrialized solutions for green hydrogen production (IVHY™ 100) and carbon capture (BluenzymeTM) to offer complete packages for the conversion to green products by integrating them with downstream processing, such as methanation, ammonia, methanol and SAF synthesis.

What can IVHY™ 100 be used for?

 

IVHY™ 100 can be used to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia in medium and large-scale plants but also in sectors where hydrogen offers an interesting opportunity for decarbonisation such as in the production of steel and cement and complex existing industrial structures which already use hydrogen, such as in refining, petrochemicals and fertilizers.

In synergy with the capture and use of CO2, green hydrogen is used for the production of e-fuel, i.e. e-methanol, e-methane and e-SAF.

 

Reliability and efficiency

 

Nel’s alkaline electrolysers are highly reliable and efficient and have been successfully installed in hundreds of existing plants and continuously improved thanks to Nel’s knowledge, experience and expertise. 

Saipem’s industrialized green hydrogen solution (IVHY™ 100) is pre-engineered, modular and scalable, built with competitive time and costs, can easily adapt to clients’ different needs.
