Saipem has been reconfirmed as sustainability leader in its sector by Vigeo Eiris, the principal European ESG rating agency, which is part of the Moody's group.
The analyst assigned to Saipem a score of 62/100, an increase on the previous year.
The score has been assigned following an assessment conducted every 2 years based on information on 23 areas of interest ranging from climate change, health, safety, and environmental issues to human and labor rights.
This score places Saipem among the best companies in Europe, and in the reference sector, on sustainability issues. In addition, Saipem has already been included in the London Stock Exchange's FTSE4Good series of equity indices for eleven years, which identifies the best companies on ESG issues globally, and is also the industry leader in the World and Europe equity indices of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
