Biography

Guido D’Aloisio holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and a Diploma in Intercultural Management (DICM) from the University of Cambridge.

With over 35 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, he is a highly respected expert in both onshore and offshore business, particularly in Offshore/Deepwater Design and Installation activities involving FPSOs, risers, pipelines, flowlines, and flexibles. His extensive expertise and leadership in the Energy industry have made him a key figure in both traditional and renewable energy solutions.

Throughout his career, he has managed major deepwater development projects in West and North Africa and has held various project positions within Saipem group, including Sonsub and SaiBos, across multiple locations such as Italy, UK, France, Norway, and Croatia.

Since joining Saipem in 1989, he has held numerous senior management roles, including Country Manager for Qatar, Offshore Area Manager for KSA, UAE, and the Caspian Sea (2023), Regional Manager for the Atlantic, Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, and Gulf of Mexico (2021-2023), Global Head of Offshore Renewables Business Line (2020), Managing Director and Chairman of Saipem UK Ltd (2020-2021), Chairman of BosCongo, Regional Manager for Central Africa, Managing Director of Saipem Contracting Nigeria (2015-2020) and Deputy General Manager of Saipem MISR (2006-2013).

From 1 July 2024 he is Chief Commercial Officer of Saipem S.p.A.
