San Donato Milanese (MI), 09 December 2020 – Saipem has joined the Municipality of Milan’s Il Natale degli Alberi (Christmas of the Trees) initiative by installing its own tree in Largo La Foppa as a gift to the city, which will remain lit until 6 January.

Saipem responded to the call to action to participate in the project to show its bond and commitment to the city in which it is preparing to inaugurate its new headquarters in the Santa Giulia district in 2022.

Saipem has chosen a futuristic and technological tree called the "Tree of the Future” that was created by the Ground Control agency. It is a symbol of the passion, hopes and expectations for tomorrow. It consists of a 6-meter high iron structure that supports four LED bands on which phrases about the future will be projected. It is an interactive tree because it dialogues with users who will be able to send their own phrases and thoughts to the dearfuture.saipem.com site that will be displayed on the light panels.

The theme of the future is particularly close to Saipem’s heart, not only because it conveys a message of hope in this difficult time, but also because entering into dialogue with the future for the company means being ready to anticipate changes with new projects, new solutions and new ideas in an open and dynamic conversation. Saipem looks to the future, putting all its ingenuity, creativity and passion to anticipate a world in which energy and mobility will be increasingly accessible and sustainable. The future together with the energy for evolution are elements that define the new communications pay off of the Saipem brand: Empowering Evolution.

The project is in fact part of Saipem's new communications campaign, entitled Dear Future, through which Saipem wants to talk about the importance of accepting the challenge of the future, of being ready to enter into communication with it and relaunching it with new projects, new solutions and new ideas. Saipem looks to the future with its ingenuity, its creativity and its passion to anticipate a world in which energy and mobility will be increasingly accessible and sustainable. Evolution is, in fact, an open conversation that requires the ability to speak, listen and understand.
