The training program is dedicated to high-potential young Saudi nationals who are part of Saipem's workforce in Saudi Arabia, with the goal of contributing to the development of local skills

Saipem has launched a new training program in General Management, delivered by SDA Bocconi, at its headquarters in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, dedicated to young Saudi Arabian talents, who are part of Saipem's local workforce.

The initiative aims to provide participants with a comprehensive set of managerial and leadership skills, essential tools to tackle business challenges in a structured and modern way and to build positive relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external to Saipem.

The program is part of a broader strategy to enhance the local human capital that Saipem has been implementing for years in Saudi Arabia, where the company has been operating for over 40 years, directly employing around 4,000 people. Following the integration and training programs for young local graduates and diploma holders, Saipem now offers an additional phase of growth aimed at enhancing the skills of young talents who have already been with the company for a few years, through a managerial training program designed for future leaders of Saipem in Saudi Arabia.

Specifically, the training path is divided into two modules: the first takes place in Saudi Arabia, and the second will take place in September at SDA Bocconi campus in Milan, fostering cultural exchange between young Saudi professionals and the Italian context in which Saipem has its roots. Afterward, a concluding session is planned at Saipem’s headquarters in Milan, where the participants will present their group work results to the company’s top management. The program combines classroom lessons with business simulations, case study analysis, practical case discussions, and exercises. Participants will face different scenarios, testing their leadership and project management skills through dynamic group work.

This program, therefore, represents an additional step in the path of enhancing Saudi talents and strengthens Saipem’s presence in the country, confirming the company’s commitment to training a highly qualified local leadership capable of driving success and increasing business competitiveness, while generating long-term value in the country.
