Biography

Born in 1975, he holds an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management and a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo.

He joined Saipem in 2001 and has built his career through roles of increasing responsibility, developing an in-depth understanding of the company’s businesses and operational environments. Professional experiences in Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, North America and France have shaped a leadership profile characterized by a strong ability to navigate different cultures, organizational contexts and ways of working.

From 2012 to 2015, he was based in Calgary as North America Human Resources Regional Coordinator, overseeing HR activities for Saipem Group companies and branches across Canada, the United States and Mexico. Upon returning to Milan, he served as HR Business Partner, supporting the business in defining staffing strategies and contributing to major corporate and transformation initiatives.

Between 2017 and 2022, he held the role of Head of Human Resources for Saipem’s Offshore Division in Paris, leading an international team of HR managers and supporting a global workforce of more than 12,000 employees across project offices, construction sites, fabrication yards and offshore vessels. During this period, he also played a key role in significant organizational transformation and turnaround programs.

From 2022 to 2023, he was responsible for Saipem’s Fano Project Execution Hub, further broadening his managerial perspective and operational leadership experience.

From 2023 to 2026, he held the position of Human Resources Director at Saipem. In this role, he helped translate the company’s strategic priorities into organizational decisions and people-focused initiatives.

He is currently Chief Human Resources, HSEQ and Sustainability Officer of the Saipem Group, with responsibility for people management as well as health, safety, environment, quality and sustainability across the organization.
