Biography

Born in Cagliari, Italy, on February 3, 1977, he graduated with honors in Business Administration and later obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Business School of the Milan Polytechnic.

He gained significant managerial experience in both industry and management consulting.

From April 2001 to December 2003, he was a consultant in the Financial Services Practice, at Accenture.

From January 2005 to November 2019, he worked at Bain & Company as an Expert Partner in the Milan, Rome and Sydney offices. He has been a member of the Natural Resources / Oil&Gas and Financial Services Practices, dealing with Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Performance Optimization for large industrial groups and financial institutions.

In November 2019, he joined the Eni S.p.A. Group, where he currently holds the positions of Head of Finance and Chairman of Banque Eni.

Since May 14, 2024, he is a member of the Board of Directors, as well as of the Sustainability, Scenarios and Governance Committee of Saipem S.p.A.
