Since 2008, 'Saipem Taga Al-Rushaid Fabricators Company Ltd' (STAR) has been operating in the Middle East region. It continuously contributes to the construction of components for the Arabian Gulf. The largest platform ever built in Saudi Arabia was the TP-9 deck, in 2016, with a weight of 3,200 t.
