Our commitment in figures
United to develop new methodologies
In this general framework, Saipem has also introduced new innovation methodologies aiming to govern the whole innovation cycle. In partnership with the Politecnico di Milano, we have developed the “TechInnoValue” methodology to track and measure the entire value generated by technological innovation (economic as well as environmental and social, where relevant) within projects, in relation to the sustainable development of the business and in line with the Company’s ESG objectives. A unique approach has recently been designed and developed with the Politecnico to identify, assess and manage technological risks in complex projects.
Saipem Innovation Trophy
Since 2003, Saipem has been promoting the in-house “Saipem Innovation Trophy”, an initiative rewarding the best industrial innovations that have generated economic benefits during the previous year. In 2024, the competition reached its 18th edition, enhancing the creativity, dedication and commitment of our talented people researching pioneering solutions for a sustainable future. In addition, 2024 saw the launch of “Ideas-for-Innovation Contest”, a forward-looking challenge on substantiated topics. This initiative looks to the future, and for this reason encourages the freedom of creative expression even more, aiming to guide our talents towards the experimentation and development of their ideas.
