Press note: Saipem in the Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Energy Leaders classification
San Donato Milanese (MI), December 14, 2017 - Saipem has been included in two Thomson Reuters classifications: as a 2017 Top 100 Global Energy Leader and as a 2017 Top 25 Oil & Gas and Related Equipment Services Honouree.
The classification is the outcome of a holistic study carried out by Thomson Reuters to identify the main companies that stand out in terms of excellent results in the energy sector, assessed using criteria that measure financial and legal aspects, faith in management, including on the part of investors, risk and resilience, innovation, social responsibility, human rights, environmental impact and reputation.
The prize was presented to Saipem’s CEO, Stefano Cao, during a ceremony which took place in the Innovation Factory at company headquarters.
Saipem is one of the world leaders in drilling services, as well as in the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of pipelines and complex projects, onshore and offshore, in the oil & gas market.
