Filing of the project for the merger by incorporation of Saipem Energy Services S.p.A. into Saipem S.p.A.

As of today, documents pertaining to the merger – i.e. the Merger scheme, the report by the Board of Directors of Saipem S.p.A. and the 2010 Financial Statements of both companies involved in the merger - are available to the public at the Company’s registered office and at Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (www.borsaitaliana.it), or they can be downloaded from Saipem’s website www.saipem.com. Also available from Saipem’s registered office are the Financial Statements for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 for both Saipem S.p.A. and Saipem Energy Services S.p.A.
