Once again, Saipem has been confirmed at the highest level of this year’s EcoVadis rating, one of the most important international corporate sustainability assessment platforms.

In particular, Saipem received a total score that enabled it to achieve the highest rating -  Platinum level - thus ranking among the best companies in the world for the quality of their sustainability management system and representing 1% out of all the 90,000 companies assessed.

EcoVadis' methodology consists of measuring a company's sustainability through its policies, actions, and results, scoring the organization's performance in four macro-areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The overall score reflects the quality of the management system at the time of the assessment and is based on recognized international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and the ISO 26000 standard.

This important accomplishment is a testament to Saipem's ongoing commitment to integrating environmental, social and governance sustainability issues into business strategies and processes in order to generate sustainable value for all its stakeholders.
