Biography

Born in 1979, in Cassa Depositi e Prestiti since 2015, in 2020, he was appointed Deputy General Manager and Chief Business Officer responsible for developing credit and business activities for Cassa Depositi. 

With a First Class Economics degree from "La Sapienza" and an MBA from the University of Oxford, he began his professional career at McKinsey where, after 11 years with the company, he was appointed Associate Principal.

In 2013, he joined Banca Popolare di Bari as Head of Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Control, where he managed a 20-strong team. He was responsible for all P & C activities, including commercial planning and daily monitoring of the branch network.  His most strategic projects were the acquisition of two banks and the Bank's increase in capital. After a brief experience with the Boston Consulting Group, he moved to Cassa Depositi e Prestiti as Planning and Strategic Control Manager. 

From October 2018, he held the post of Chief Financial Officer within the company and was responsible for the areas of Finance, Asset and Liability Management and Treasury, Funding, Financial Statements and Supervisory, Tax, Planning and Management Control Reports. 

In August 2020, he was appointed Deputy General Manager and Chief Business Officer and became responsible for developing the credit and business activity of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
