Biography

Born in 1982, Fabrizio Botta was awarded a First-Class degree In Mechanical Engineering at the University of Palermo. He went on to complete his studies with a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the MIP Graduate School of Business - Milan Politecnico. 
He began his professional career in 2007 at Edison SpA, where he rose to the position of "Project Mechanical Engineer" in the Engineering Department.

He joined the Saipem family in April 2010, where he has held three posts in chronological order: Technical Manager for Renewables, Proposal Director, Office of the CEO and Chairman and Area Manager Middle East for Drilling based in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

On his return to Italy, he worked as Director of Global Strategy Commercial and Tendering for the Onshore E&C division from 2019 to 2021.

In December 2021, he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Saipem.
