Saipem has been included once again in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook, the annual report drawn up by the S&P Global rating agency that ranks the world's best companies for their sustainability practices.

Saipem is classified in the “Top 1% S&P Global CSA Score” category for the Energy Equipment & Services sector, where it has been positioned as a leader for the last six years.

The S&P Global yearbook aims to list companies that, in their respective sectors, have demonstrated excellence in the sustainability of their business. For the 2024 edition, S&P examined over 9,400 companies, which were also evaluated based on the 2023 data from the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA); an analysis that included tens of thousands of company documents and as many as 16.5 million datapoints. The ranking includes 759 companies, chosen based on S&P Global ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) factors.

This achievement comes after Saipem's inclusion, for the seventh consecutive year, in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (World and Europe) of S&P Global, the most significant sustainability equity index.

Saipem’s presence in the yearbook of the world's most sustainable companies is another proof of the value of its corporate sustainability plan called "Our journey to a sustainable business 2023 - 2026," approved by the Board of Directors, which commits top management and all corporate functions and business lines. The plan integrates the company's strategy with measurable and clearly defined actions, objectives and targets aimed at enhancing all areas related to sustainability.
