Double Materiality Assessment
Double Materiality Assessment aims to map the sustainability issues that affect our business, and how our business impacts society and the environment, so that we can identify and prioritise issues that are most relevant to us and our stakeholders. The 2025 assessment relied on internal inputs from over 20 teams. We identified 30 material impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs) across 9 material topics. The results are shared with the Board of Directors and form inputs to Saipem’s Strategic Plan and Sustainability Plan, Short- and Long-Term Incentive Plans, Sustainability Reporting and communications, Integrated Risk Management process.
