Youth Guidance Initiative: Building the Future Together

We believe that young people’s futures depend on the quality of the opportunities we offer them today. This is why we promote initiatives that strengthen relationships between schools and businesses, creating connections with secondary schools and universities. Our commitment focuses on school and career guidance, fostering joint projects and training courses that help young people develop the skills of the future needed to respond to the challenges of the world of work. We prepare them to undertake their professional career with awareness and competence.

QHSE Master "Marco Satta"

The 2024-2025 QHSE Master, promoted by SAIPEM in partnership with the QUINN consortium, is a high-specialisation course designed to train professionals with multidisciplinary skills in the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) field. In a constantly evolving energy sector, the Master aims to develop professionals to tackle the new sustainability and energy transition challenges.

This year’s edition also has a new feature: from day one, the students will perform an extra-curricular internship at SAIPEM, allowing them to put the lessons learned into practice and become protagonists of the energy industry.

The lessons, managed by the QUINN Consortium, are held at the Milan headquarters, adopting an approach based increasingly on direct experience. Whenever possible, the SAIPEM HSEQ training hours will be delivered directly in the field, at strategic operational sites such as Arbatax, Marghera/Trieste, Ravenna and on vessels undergoing maintenance and infrastructure sites.

Sinergia Programme
Innovating the future 2024-2025

Sinergia - Innovating the Future 2024-2025 is the school guidance programme promoted by SAIPEM and ELIS, running since 2011, involving students of the final two years of six Italian secondary schools in a practical, innovative training course.

This year the schools involved are:

IIS Mattei (Electronics and Electrical Engineering) - San Donato Milanese
ITIS G. Feltrinelli (Mechanics) - Milan
IIS Pacinotti (Mechanics, Mechatronics - Energy) - Triestre
ITI Tortolì (Electrical Engineering, Scientific) - Tortolì
IIS Volterra Elia (Mechanics, Mechatronics - Energy) - Ancona
Liceo Enzo Piccinini (Scientific) - Pesaro

Saipem together with schools for sustainability

Each school mentored by a SAIPEM Expert, is presented with a real task:  developing creative ideas and awareness raising materials on the subject of sustainability and energy transition at sea. 

Divided in teams, the students put their ideas into action to address one of the most pressing global challenges. During the course, Saipem Experts guide the groups and provide technical support, allowing students to contribute to assessing the projects. Then, they will select the best team from each school and proclaim the absolute winner of the challenge. 

The winning team will have the chance to take part in an exclusive experience at the CNO in Rome, in direct contact with the world of innovation and industry. A unique opportunity for young people to experience team work, develop soft skills, give shape to their innovative ideas and contribute to a real cause.
