Biography

Born in Milan on March 26, 1964, he graduated in Political Economics from Columbia University, New York (USA). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from INSEAD, Fontainbleau (France). 
Mr. Schapira has held various domestic and international positions as Managing Director at both Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
He is a financial and strategic consultant to companies, family holding companies and private equity funds, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Equita S.p.A., as well as Senior Advisor to Bregal Milestone.
He also serves as Independent Director at Tamburi Investment Partners S.p.A. 
He is a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, as well as member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee of Saipem S.p.A.
