HSE Management System
The Saipem Health, Safety and Environment Management System summarises the Company's commitment to HSE issues, as defined in the HSE Policy, and describes the organisation, structure and methods adopted.
The HSE Management System combines the three themes of Health, Safety and the Environment and is integrated into the overall Companys management system.
The System's internal integration relates to the homogeneous involvement of the three management systems for Health, Safety, and Environment in a single complex and harmonised system which conforms to recognised international standards including OHSAS 18001 and ISO140001 series, and is in compliance with the principles of the Company's Quality System.
The HSEMS is represented in a specific Manual which contains a description of the Saipem HSE Process. The Mission of HSE Process is explained in the Policy and its aims are reached through the implementation of HSE Management System. Its briefly the following:
"To provide support for the Company's core processes in order to ensure that the activities are carried out fully respecting Industrial Safety, Health and the Environment.
