Saipem recognises its responsibility towards employees’ health. Saipem Health Department envisages a sustainable Medical Program that caters to all health needs of its employees including in it the host community too.
The company has implemented a comprehensive Health Management System structured to be fully operational even at remote sites and in frontier areas, assuring and delivering health management of the same quality in all the worksites and operating units.
This in order to:
- Assure the optimum psycho-physical state of every individual for a maximum and safe work-performance within the Company’s work activities;
- Give the correct input to Managers in making policies and critical decisions on health-related issues;
- Guarantee appropriate and immediate response to the Medical Emergencies;
- Develop an anticipatory Health Program to recognize and control the potential health hazards present in the work environment.
Major programs are mainly focused on health prevention and promotion to achieve the goal of a healthy workforce in a safe and healthy working environment.
Saipem Health Department also conduces a series of specific Programs to promote and protect employees’ health.
