Michele Volpi

Michele Volpi was born in Florence in 1964. He holds Master's degree in business administration from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan, Italy.

He joined Habasit, a Swiss multinational company, in 1988 holding various commercial positions in Italy before been appointed General Director of the Spanish Branch.

From 1996 to 1998 he worked as a Management Consultant in the Boston Consulting Group in Milan and held various marketing & product management positions at General Electric Plastics in Holland and in the USA from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Mr. Volpi joined the US multinational concern H.B. Fuller based in Minneapolis, becoming its CEO and Board Director in 2006.

Mr Volpi is currently Board Director of the US Investment Bank Piper Jaffray (NYSE: PJC).
