Health Management is focused on health surveillance, medical emergency preparedness and response, disease prevention and health promotion, based on recommendations from international guidelines and in compliance with local laws.
The Health Management System is designed for full functionality even in remote and frontier areas and to deliver a uniform level of quality at all work sites and offices.
The aims of the system are to:
- ensure the optimum mental and physical health of all workers and, consequently, better and safer work performance through rigorous programmes of health surveillance
- ensure an immediate and appropriate response to medical emergencies
- develop and deliver information programmes and prevention initiatives in order to help identify and control potential health hazards present in the work environment
- provide company management with support for setting policies and making critical decisions on issues related to the health of workers.
